Situation in the directions

The Commander-in-Chief worked at command posts in the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions, where, together with commanders of the Air Assault Forces and assault regiments, he analyzed the situation on the front line.

He noted that the enemy is acting aggressively, but the Defense Forces are giving a worthy rebuff.

"Our goal is to keep the Russian aggressor under constant pressure, inflict losses on him, and prevent his advance. The tactics we have chosen are producing results," Syrskyi emphasized.

Supply and logistics

During the meeting, critical needs of the units were also discussed, in particular, equipment repairs and the rapid evacuation of the wounded. According to the Commander-in-Chief, command and control of troops under conditions of high-intensity combat requires maximum coordination.

"We frankly discussed problematic issues that affect the effectiveness of mission execution. I issued the necessary orders to ensure the needs of our warriors are met," he added.

Russian reserves and the ZSU’s response

Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that Russia is moving reserves to the east, prompting the Armed Forces of Ukraine to rely on drones and robotic logistics.

We also wrote that the Commander-in-Chief announced Ukraine’s transition to offensive operations, since, according to him, victory cannot be achieved through defense alone.

In addition, Syrskyi summed up the past year, noting that the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted three successful offensive operations, two of which took place on Russian territory.
