Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine as of Saturday morning, December 1, amounted to another 1,070 occupiers, with the overall tally of Russian military losses since the start of the invasion totaling 331,110 personnel, according to the Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the adversary from 02/24/22 to 12/02/23 are approximately as follows:

  • Personnel: About 331,110 (+1,070) individuals
  • Tanks: 5,571 (+7) units
  • Armored personnel vehicles (APV): 10,385 (+13) units
  • Artillery systems: 7,941 (+10) units
  • Multiple launch rocket systems: 913 (+1) units
  • Anti-aircraft warfare systems: 602 units
  • Aircraft: 323 units
  • Helicopters: 324 units
  • UAV operational-tactical level: 5,994 (+18) units
  • Cruise missiles: 1,568 (+1) units
  • warships/boats: 22 units
  • Submarines: 1 unit
  • Vehicles and fuel tanks: 10,410 (+11) units
  • Special equipment: 1,138 (+1) units

Frontline situation

As per analysts from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Ukrainian military forces are actively engaged in offensive operations in the Bakhmut direction. Notably, Ukrainian soldiers successfully repelled the enemy from positions north of Khromove and east of Klishchiivka. Additionally, they carried out a successful counterattack in the Avdiivka region.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports that the offensive operation extends to the Melitopol direction, with Ukrainian forces maintaining control over occupied positions on the left bank of the Dnieper.
