Apple to introduce new versions of iPad and MacBook Air in early 2024
Apple plans to unveil new models of iPad Air, iPad Pro, and MacBook Air in early next year, according to Bloomberg.
The sources suggest that the new iPad Air will come in two sizes, and the Pro model will feature an OLED screen. It is also reported that the next generation of the MacBook Air will run on the new M3 chip.
Sources specify that the release of the new iPads is expected by the end of March 2024, coinciding with the launch of iPadOS 17.4. The release of the new Mac is also anticipated no earlier than March.
The company plans to introduce four new models of the iPad Pro with screen sizes of 11 and 13 inches. Apple is also preparing updated versions of accessories like the Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard, which will be sold together with the new iPad Pro.
For the last fiscal year ending on September 31, Apple's revenue and net income decreased by 3%, reaching $383.3 billion and $97 billion, respectively, with revenue decline noted in each of the four quarters of the fiscal year.
It is reported that iPhone sales for the quarter increased by 2.8% to $43.8 billion. Meanwhile, Mac sales for the same period decreased by 33% to $7.6 billion, and iPad sales decreased by 9%, totaling $6.4 billion. The company's services sector demonstrated significant growth, rising by 16%.
