iOS 17.2 update
This recent update introduces Journal, an "all-new way to reflect on life’s moments and preserve your memories," according to Apple. It also has an Action button and Camera enhancements, other features, bug fixes, and security updates.
The update also introduces Qi2 charger support for all models of iPhone 13 and iPhone 14.
Apple testing new 17.3 update
iOS 17.3 and iPadOS 17.3, expected updates to be released in January 2024, are currently undergoing testing by Apple.
Specifically, it will include a notable addition, Stolen Device Protection, which enhances iPhone security by restricting access to crucial features in case of theft. This includes Apple ID settings, passwords, iCloud Keychain, and financial data. Face ID or Touch ID will be necessary if the device is in an unfamiliar location, reducing the potential harm caused if your iPhone is stolen by someone who knows your passcode.
