2025 was one of Apple’s most notable years in recent times: the company introduced the Liquid Glass interface, iPhone Air, and a radically updated iPhone 17 Pro. Although there were few truly shocking announcements, almost all products felt new. In 2026, Apple is expected to go even further, with innovations affecting all major device categories, according to 9to5Mac.
New Studio Display
The update of Apple's external monitor may seem like a minor event, but given the company’s rare releases in this segment, it is highly significant.
In recent years, Apple has released only two displays: the Pro Display XDR in 2019 and the Studio Display in 2022.
According to rumors, Apple may unveil a new external monitor as early as the beginning of 2026, possibly even two models. A 27-inch screen with miniLED panels is expected, along with a switch to the A19 Pro chip instead of the A13 Bionic used in the current Studio Display.

Apple Home Hub
Rumors about Apple developing a home hub have been circulating for some time. Its launch has been delayed due to reliance on Apple Intelligence and an updated Siri, which are not yet fully realized.
The device is expected to be a kind of HomePad with a 7-inch screen and a new homeOS operating system. The hub will provide detailed control over a smart home and function as an intelligent assistant. It will feature an A18 processor. Conceptually, the device will be similar to Google Nest Hub or Amazon Echo Show, but within Apple’s ecosystem.
If Apple manages to resolve the issues with the AI version of Siri, the new device could be unveiled in 2026.

MacBook Pro Redesign
For the first time since 2021, Apple is expected to completely redesign the MacBook Pro.
The main focus will be a thinner body and the introduction of OLED displays, which have not been used in the MacBook lineup before.
Sources also mention the possible addition of a touch screen and 5G support. The new MacBook Pro is expected to feature M6 series chips, potentially becoming Apple’s first 2-nanometer processors. If these plans materialize, 2026 will be a landmark year for the entire MacBook Pro lineup.
First Foldable iPhone
Following the iPhone Air, Apple is preparing another major innovation — the iPhone Fold, which could be released in just one year.
According to rumors, it will be a foldable device in a tablet-style format rather than a flip phone. The internal screen will be 7.8 inches, and the external screen 5.5 inches, making it one of the most compact foldable smartphones.
Apple is reportedly paying special attention to eliminating a visible crease on the screen. The iPhone Fold may also feature Touch ID instead of Face ID and a titanium frame.

More Affordable MacBook
Apple also plans to release a new entry-level MacBook, positioned below the MacBook Air.
The device will feature a 13-inch display and an A18 Pro chip. Several bright color options are expected, and the starting price could be around $699.
It is not yet clear which features will be simplified to reduce the price. This laptop will be the first MacBook to use an A-series processor instead of an M-series chip.
OLED iPad mini
For the first time since 2021, Apple is preparing a redesign of the iPad mini. The main innovation will be the switch to an OLED display.
This technology was previously introduced in the iPad Pro, and the iPad mini could become Apple’s second tablet with an OLED screen.
Other expected upgrades include improved water resistance and the A19 Pro chip. Analysts estimate the updated iPad mini will be released in 2026.
