Apartment buildings and power lines hit in Russian strike on Dnipropetrovsk region, one injured (photo)

Russian forces shelled the Dnipropetrovsk region late into the evening and again in the morning. Houses were damaged, a fire broke out, and a woman was injured, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, reports.
Russian troops shelled the Nikopol and the Myrivska community with artillery and FPV drones. During the attacks, a 55-year-old woman was injured and hospitalized in moderate condition. Two apartment buildings and a power line were damaged.
According to updated information, yesterday afternoon, an artillery strike on the Marganets community caused a fire that destroyed a private house.
The Mezhivska community of Synelnykove district was attacked by drones. Due to the strikes:
- An abandoned building caught fire;
- A local cultural center was damaged;
- An administrative building, a gymnasium, and a cafeteria were destroyed;
- Outbuildings were completely burned down.
Earlier, on August 6, the Russian army attacked the villages of Vyshchetarasivka and Illinka in Nikopol district, as well as Nikopol itself. In the latter, rescuers came under shelling from artillery while inspecting the area after a previous enemy attack. A 23-year-old rescuer and two civilians were killed in the strike.
On August 7, the Dnipropetrovsk region and the city of Dnipro were again hit by UAV attacks, injuring three civilians. Apartment buildings and administrative facilities were also damaged.
On August 10, the Russian army also targeted the railway station in Synelnykove, temporarily halting train traffic.
