Antisemites persecuted Israeli TV crew in Amsterdam
In Amsterdam, a group of young individuals attempted to attack and pursue a crew from the Israeli television and radio company Kan. The journalists had to call the police for assistance, reports The Times of Israel.
Reporter Michal Reshef and cameraman Micah Rizov were pursued by a group of anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian youths after filming a segment in Amsterdam.
In a released video, Reshef explains that the group approached them shouting Free Palestine just before their live broadcast from Dam Square. However, the police intervened and pushed the group away.
After the broadcast, the group waited in an alley and began following Reshef and Rizov. For their safety, the journalists were forced to enter a store and call the police. The video ends with the police arriving to escort them to a safe location.

The incident occurred shortly after the National Security Council cited an assessment from Israeli security services, stating that the wave of violence following the Maccabi Tel Aviv game in Amsterdam had ended, and Israelis could once again move freely around the city.
However, the NSC statement emphasized that due to ongoing concerns, Israelis should hide Israeli symbols and remain extra vigilant.
