Another accident occurs in Rostov Region, where oil depot has been burning for six days
Another fire has broken out in the city of Proletarsk, the Rostov region, where an oil depot has been burning for six days. The fire has engulfed residential buildings, according to the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations on Telegram and Russian Telegram channels.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations claims that "dry vegetation" is burning in Proletarsk. Russian Telegram channels report that reeds are on fire.
"The fire has spread to residential buildings," the Ministry of Emergency Situations clarifies.
Videos posted online show the fire near the railway. Locals are sharing footage of tankers being transported by rail, which could potentially lead to further explosions.
Meanwhile, Russians are alleging that the reeds might have been set on fire by saboteurs.
It is likely that the fire at the oil depot and the "dry vegetation fire" are not related.
