Angelina Jolie in Ukraine again? What we know about her possible visit

Photos and videos of a woman resembling Angelina Jolie, filmed in several Ukrainian cities, are circulating on social media.
How rumors about Jolie’s arrival began
The first reports appeared on August 29. Followers of local public groups claimed that the Hollywood actress had allegedly been spotted in Lviv together with security guards.
No photos or videos that could confirm this information were published.
That same day, a woman resembling Jolie was captured by cameras at the Staryi Mlyn restaurant in Ternopil.
In the video, she enters the establishment with an entourage and then sits down at a table.
Representatives of the restaurant said that their guest was indeed Angelina Jolie, who tasted Ukrainian cuisine.
However, the woman’s face in the footage is not clear enough to definitively confirm her identity.

On August 30, new footage appeared in Kremenchuk public groups. They show a woman in a long coat and large dark sunglasses inside one of the local shopping malls.
The authors of the post suggested that it could have been Jolie. At the same time, the quality of the photos also does not allow the actress to be confidently identified.
Jolie was also allegedly spotted in Kharkiv
Later, a video appeared online that, according to local residents, was filmed in the Kholodna Hora district of Kharkiv.
In the footage, a woman resembling the Hollywood star is standing near an establishment with several people. Due to the low quality of the video, it is impossible to confirm that Jolie is actually in the footage.
Volunteer Serhii Sternenko also wrote about the actress’s possible visit to Ternopil and Kharkiv.
Has Angelina Jolie’s arrival been confirmed?
As of August 31, Angelina Jolie and her representatives had not commented on the possible visit.
There have also been no official statements from Ukrainian authorities or charitable organizations.
It is currently not reliably known whether the actress is actually shown in the footage, what purpose she may have come for, or which cities she visited.
If confirmed, this would be Jolie’s third visit to Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war.
The actress’s previous visits
In April 2022, Angelina Jolie came to Lviv on a private humanitarian mission.
She met with internally displaced people, volunteers, and children who were affected by the Russian strike on the railway station in Kramatorsk.
In November 2025, the actress visited Kherson and Mykolaiv. She visited underground schools and medical facilities and also met with volunteers, doctors, and local families.
