Special Operations Forces of Ukraine (SSO) hit dozens of targets in Russia and occupied territories this summer. These included airfields, a vessel, defense factories, oil refineries, and more.

SSO troops used asymmetric tactics, multi-level operations, and unconventional planning. They operated where the enemy had no rear lines.

Direct actions, Deep Strike, and special SOF operations from June to August included:

  • Savasleyka Airfield: 1 MiG-31K, 1 Su-34;
  • Marinovka Airfield: 4 Su-34 aircraft;
  • Borisoglebsk Airfield: warehouse with guided bombs, a training-combat aircraft, and possibly other planes;
  • UAV production plant in Yelabuga;
  • Gunpowder plant in the Tambov region;
  • Iskander tactical missile system command post in the Kursk region;
  • 448th Missile Brigade Iskander base in the Kursk region;
  • TRLK-10 Skala-M radar complex in occupied Crimea;
  • Vessel Port Olya-4 loaded with Shahed UAV components and munitions in the Astrakhan region;
  • 96L6 radar station in occupied Crimea;
  • Mobile fuel and lubricant units in occupied Crimea.

SSO troops also struck several oil refineries: Novokuibyshevsk, Volgograd, Syzran, Novatek-Ust-Luga, Ryazan, Kuibyshev, and Krasnodar.

Other targets damaged or neutralized included:

  • 10 Russian defense industry sites;
  • 58 logistics facilities supporting Russian army units and combat supply;
  • Dozens of enemy command posts, storage bases for vehicles, munitions, and UAVs.

"Three months behind enemy lines, hundreds of deep strike attacks, dozens of strategic targets destroyed or damaged. The enemy lost a lot, but more is ahead," the Special Operations Forces said.

Ukraine's strikes inside Russia

On the night of August 18, the units of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck the Nikolskoye oil pumping station in the Tambov region, triggering a fire.

After the Ukrainian attacks, pumping through the Druzhba main oil pipeline was completely halted.

On the night of September 7, Ukraine's Defense Forces targeted sites in Russia, hitting part of the Stalnoy Kon (Steel Horse) pipeline and the Ilsky oil refinery.

Recently, Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) drones struck the port of Primorsk in the Baltic Sea. Reports say two tankers from Russia's shadow fleet were damaged.
