Ukrainian pilot Vadym Voroshylov, with the call sign Karaya, conducted operations in the Kursk region. He destroyed bridge crossings. A video of the pilot's work was published on the Air Force's Telegram channel.

As reported by the Air Force, they plan operations in the Kursk region every day. The targeting systems are programmed during such planning, and then a combat sortie takes place.

"Precision strike, objective control, and thanks from the commander. And this happens every day! Relentlessly and selflessly," the message states.

The video shows the preparation of a Ukrainian MiG-29 aircraft using GBU-62 JDAM-ER bombs to destroy bridge crossings in the Kursk region. It also features the pilot performing these operations—Vadym "Karaya" Voroshylov.

Who is Voroshylov

Vadym Voroshylov, call sign Karaya, is a Ukrainian military pilot and a Hero of Ukraine, known for his successful actions during the war against Russian aggression. He gained prominence in 2022 after destroying several enemy drones and missiles during air combat. One of his most notable episodes is his successful ejection after his aircraft was shot down while performing a combat mission.

Fighting in the Kursk region

Since August 6, Ukrainian forces have been advancing in the border areas of the Kursk region, taking control of about 100 settlements. Ukraine has also announced the creation of a buffer zone. President Zelenskyy stated that this has helped reduce the threat to the Kharkiv, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions.

According to Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi, as of August 30, Ukrainian troops have advanced another two kilometers in the Kursk region.

The Air Force also previously released a video showing the destruction of a bridge over the Seim River in the Kursk region.
