The Ukrainian Air Force has released footage showing the British-made Raven surface-to-air missile system against Russian targets in southern Ukraine, according to the Air Force.

Air Force personnel explained that Raven systems provided by the United Kingdom are operating in different directions. The video highlights the types of aerial targets Ukrainian forces have intercepted and demonstrates the effectiveness of the British system.

Notably, the Raven is equipped with AIM-132 ASRAAM missiles and is designed to engage all types of drones, cruise missiles, and ideally, aircraft and helicopters.

The combat vehicle crew consists of three members: a commander, a driver, and a gunner. The roles are interchangeable, allowing the crew to switch duties when needed.

UK support for Ukraine

Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, the UK has firmly supported Ukraine by providing military, financial, and diplomatic assistance. Britain has helped strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities and advocates for holding Russia accountable on the international stage.

At the summer Ramstein meeting, the UK announced a record £350 million aid package for drone supplies, which will allow Ukraine to receive 100,000 drones this year.
