Air defense forces destroyed one Russian missile and 10 Shaheds
On the night of September 15, Russia launched a combined strike on Ukraine. Air defense forces destroyed an Kh-59 missile and 10 Shahed drones, according to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.
During the night of September 15, Russian forces launched a guided air-to-surface Kh-59 missile from the airspace over temporarily occupied parts of the Zaporizhzhia region, as well as 14 kamikaze drones. The launch sites were Kursk and Cape Chauda in Crimea.
Additionally, the invaders struck the Odesa region with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from occupied Crimea.
The attack was repelled by air defense forces, including surface-to-air missile units, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare units of Ukraine's Defense Forces. As a result of the air battle, one Kh-59 missile and 10 strike drones were shot down.
Air defense efforts were also active in the Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Poltava, and Mykolaiv regions.

On the evening of September 14, the aggressors targeted the suburbs of Odesa with missiles containing cluster munitions. The attack damaged residential buildings and outbuildings, resulting in the death of an elderly couple.
Additionally, the enemy struck Kharkiv, causing damage to a clinic and a fire at an educational institution.
In the Mykolaiv region, debris from downed Shahed drones fell, damaging an enterprise and causing a fire at warehouses.
