Air Defense Forces destroyed 7 drones in Dnipropetrovsk region
Russian Forces launched an attack on the Dnipropetrovsk region with combat drones yesterday evening, on January 6. The Air Defense Forces successfully destroyed 7 UAVs, according to Serhiy Lysak, the head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional Administration.
"Seven enemy drones were destroyed in the region today evening," the statement reads.
The head of the regional military administration added that the hostile targets were downed in the Dniprovskiy and Nikopol districts.
Tonight, on January 7, an air raid alert was declared again in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The Ukrainian Air Force warned of the threat of ballistic weapons use.
People were urged to take care of their own safety and seek shelter during the air raid alert.
Consequences of the drone attack on Dnipro
Dnipropetrovsk Regional Administration Head, Serhiy Lysak, reported that a house where 22 families resided was affected by the Russian drone attack.
He mentioned that State Emergency Service (SES) workers rescued 6 people from the rubble, including two children, following the incident.
