Aid to Ukraine and more: Biden names key U.S. achievements in 2023

U.S. President Joe Biden has published the main achievements of the United States in 2023. Among them is assistance to Ukraine, according to Biden's post on X.
Thus, assistance to Ukraine is in the section "Strengthened democracy at home and abroad." This section also includes protecting allies and partners in Israel and strengthening U.S. alliances around the world. Biden also spoke out against discrimination and racism.
The list of major achievements looks like this:
- Tackled inflation and lowered costs - this allowed for a reduction of drug prices and helped millions save on health insurance;
- Tackled the climate crisis - millions of acres of land and water have been protected, 210,000 new jobs have been created using clean energy in just over a year, and the rule to reduce methane pollution has been finalized;
- Invested in America and created good jobs - investing in roads, bridges, high-speed Internet, clean water, reliable transportation, and railroads; created more than 2.5 million jobs (including 200,000 in construction);
- Protected access to reproductive health care services - took measures to protect access to emergency medical care, abortion, and contraception, strengthened the protection of patients' and doctors' privacy, and defended in court the ability of women to access abortion drugs;
- Made America safer from gun violence - created the first-ever White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention in American history. Announced new executive actions to keep guns out of dangerous hands;
- Made higher education more affordable - launched the most affordable student debt repayment plan ever - the SAVE Plan. Helped over 700 thousand people access public service loan forgiveness
- Confirmed highly qualified judges - a record number of Black, Hispanic, Asian American, and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander judges were confirmed.
