Aftermath of Russian drone strike on Kharkiv: Homes, shops, cars burned (photos)

On the night of June 12, the Russians again attacked Kharkiv with drones. As a result of the shelling, fires were recorded and there are injured, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported.
"At night, the enemy attacked Kharkiv with unmanned aerial vehicles. Fires broke out in the Saltivskyi, Slobidskyi, and Shevchenkivskyi districts of the city–houses, shops, and cars were burning," the message says.
Additionally, the rescuers reported that the number of injured has increased to 14 (previously, it was known that 12 were injured), among them 4 children.
"Rescuers, police, medics, and utility workers are working. Firefighters were extinguishing fires and helping to evacuate residents. Psychological support is being provided to the injured," the State Emergency Service added.
Updated at 08:38 a.m. Kyiv time. The number of victims in Kharkiv has risen to 15.
According to the Kharkiv Regional Police, 15 Kharkiv residents suffered various injuries as a result of the shelling, five of whom were taken to hospital. Among the victims are four children aged 2, 12, 16, and 17. A two-year-old boy was hospitalized.

In the morning, the mayor of the city, Ihor Terekhov, reported that the enemy attacked the city from 01:37 to 03:08. 11 hits were recorded in the city, one more Shahed did not explode.
"Fires occurred in the areas of residential buildings and educational institutions. In some cases, debris fell right next to children's playgrounds. One of the strikes damaged the elevator shaft of a multi-story building, and another destroyed part of a non-residential building and a public transport stop," he wrote.
