Aftermath footage reveals damage in Poltava following Russian attack
Russia struck Poltava on the evening of Thursday, October 31, causing several fires, according to the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of the Russian attack with strike drones, there were fires and damage to private residential houses and outbuildings.
Additionally, emergency service units (DSNS) rescued two people, although their condition has not been reported.
"Currently, two fires have been extinguished, and two more have been localized. The firefighting efforts are ongoing," the report states.
In total, over 50 personnel and 14 units of equipment from the State Emergency Service (DSNS) are involved. Psychologists from the DSNS are also working at the site.
Earlier today we reported that Russian forces struck the Poltava community.
Additionally, this evening, kamikaze drones known as Shahed were detected in several regions of Ukraine. Enemy drones were spotted in northern, central, southern, and eastern regions.
Explosions were heard in Kharkiv, Odesa, and Kyiv regions.
