Rescue operation ends in Kyiv after 24-hour search: Death toll and number of injured revealed

Rescue operations have been completed in Kyiv at the site of the Russian strike on a residential building in the Sviatoshynskyi district. The search lasted for more than a day, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports.
"Search and rescue operations at the site of the Russian attack on a residential building in Kyiv have been completed," the statement says.
As of the morning of April 25, due to the Russian attack on Kyiv, 12 people have been killed. Another 87 citizens have been injured.
Emergency recovery work continues at the site of the enemy attack. Rescue teams are dismantling damaged building structures. A total of 73 rescuers and 25 units of equipment from the State Emergency Service are working at the site.
Massive attack on Ukraine on April 24
During the night of April 24, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with drones and missiles of various types, including ballistic ones. In total, Russia launched 145 drones and 70 missiles at Ukraine.
The primary target of the attack was Kyiv. The enemy struck the capital with drones and missiles, with damage recorded in several districts. The most affected was the Sviatoshynskyi district, where a building was partially destroyed.
In addition, during the same night, Russian troops targeted the Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Sumy, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
