"Emergency services have been working flat out through the night. They have been attempting to reach as many roads users as they can," a representative from the emergency services told France 24.

Floods in Europe and their impact on Ukraine
In recent weeks, nature has exhibited several anomalies. In Ukraine, these manifested as record temperatures for a warm September and heavy rainfall in Odesa.
In Europe, floods occurred in Poland and the Czechia, while lower Austria experienced snowfall. Due to the severe weather, train services to Ukraine were temporarily suspended.
Additionally, Ukrainian experts warned that the floods in Europe could compromise water quality in Odesa and the surrounding region due to pollution in the Danube and Dniester rivers.
