Since the beginning of the day on September 25, there have been 88 battles on the front. Russia continues to use aviation, including guided aerial bombs (KABs), and is attacking the positions of Ukrainian troops, particularly actively in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian shelling

According to the General Staff, the aggressor continues to use artillery and aviation against the territories of the Chernihiv and Sumy regions.

Areas around settlements such as Mazepivka, Lyubymivka, Hremyachka, Kamyanska Sloboda, Popivka, Stukalivka, and Vovkivka have come under enemy fire.

Additionally, the enemy's aviation struck the areas of the settlements of Obody, Iskryvshchyna, Hravske, and Richky, dropping ten guided aerial bombs.

As of the current information, the enemy has carried out ten airstrikes on the territory of the Kursk region, using 20 guided aerial bombs (KABs).

Situation in the directions

In the Kharkiv direction, there were three combat engagements today. Our forces repelled a Russian attack near Vovchansk, while two skirmishes near Tykhe continue.

Three assault attempts by the invaders were thwarted by our troops near Lozova and Kruhlyakivka in the Kupiansk direction, with fighting ongoing near Synkivka.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy is attacking in the areas of Hrekivka, Novosadove, and Bilohorivka. A total of seven engagements have been recorded in this direction since the beginning of the day, three of which are still ongoing.

In the Siversk direction, Russia is actively using aviation. Siversk was struck by guided aerial bombs (KABs), and Fedoriivka came under fire from unguided aerial missiles.

Fighting continues in the areas of Hryhorivka, Chasiv Yar, and Klishchiyivka in the Kramatorsk direction, where the enemy is attempting to push Ukrainian defenders back.

In the Toretsk direction, with the support of assault and bomber aviation, the enemy has attacked our positions six times. Combat is currently ongoing near Shcherbynivka and Nelipivka.

The hottest fighting is in the Pokrovsk direction, with fierce battles taking place in the areas of Novotoretske, Lysivka, Novohrodivka, Selydove, and Kostiantynivka. The enemy has made 33 attempts to storm Ukrainian positions so far.

In the Kurakhove direction, there are seven ongoing engagements in the areas of Tsukuryne, Hirnyk, and Heorhiivka, with our defenders having repelled eleven enemy assaults.

In the Vremivka direction, four enemy assault attempts were repelled near Vuhledar and Vodiane, while four enemy assaults are still ongoing.

In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders repelled three unsuccessful enemy attacks. Russia is actively using aviation against the areas of Novoandriivka and Kamianske.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the Russian army carried out airstrikes on Kherson and Burhunka, using aerial bombs and unguided aerial missiles.

Situation on the frontlines and Russian losses

According to the General Staff, on the previous day, September 24, there were 154 combat engagements on the frontlines. In several directions, the enemy employed aviation.

The Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions remain the hottest. Intense fighting is also ongoing around Vuhledar.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost 646,000 soldiers.

During the last day, the Defense Forces eliminated another 1,250 soldiers and destroyed 15 tanks, 12 armored combat vehicles, 74 artillery systems, and other enemy equipment.
