Russia's losses in the war against Ukraine have already amounted to over 646 thousand soldiers. Ukrainian defenders destroyed 1,250 Russian invaders and over a hundred units of Russian equipment in a day, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat Russian losses as of September 25, 2024, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 646400 (+1250) people,
- tanks - 8815 (+15) units,
- troop-carrying AFVs - 17304 (+12) units
- artillery systems - 18549 (+74) units,
- MLRS - 1199 (+1) units,
- anti-aircraft systems - 952 units
- aircraft - 369 units
- helicopters - 328 units,
- UAV operational-tactical level - 15879 (+115),
- cruise missiles - 2595,
- warships/boats - 28 units
- submarines - 1 unit,
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 25248 (+73) units
- special equipment - 3168 (+13).
Situation at front
In recent months, Russia has continued its offensive on several frontlines. The heaviest fighting continues in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove sectors.
In addition, Ukrainian soldiers have been conducting an offensive in the Kursk region since August 6. Recently, it became known that the Ukrainian Armed Forces broke through another section of the frontline on the border in the Kursk region.
