Over the last day, September 24, 154 combat engagements occurred in the frontline. In many areas, Russia engaged aviation, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit 2 Russian control points, 20 areas of personnel concentration, three air defense systems and one Russian artillery system,” the General Staff writes.

Sectors

In the Kharkiv sector, Russians attempted 3 assaults near Vovchansk.

In the Kupiansk sector, Russia attacked 12 times. Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled Russian assaults near Synkivka, Andriivka, Kruhliakivka, Pishchane, Stelmakhivka, and Lozova.

In the Lyman sector, the Russians attacked 22 times near Druzheliubivka, Cherneshchyna, Hrekivka, Nevske, Torske, Makiivka, Novosadove, and Zarichne.

In the Siversk sector, Russia attacked three times near Verkhniokamianske and Bilohorivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the Russians attacked 10 times in the areas of Kalynivka, Mynkivka, Stupochky, and Bila Hora.

In the Toretsk sector, Russia conducted 12 attacks in the direction of Toretsk, Shcherbynivka, and near New York.

In the Pokrovsk sector, 25 Russian assault and offensive actions were repelled in the areas of Vozdvyzhenka, Novotoretske, Krasnyi Yar, Novohrodivka, Mykolaivka, Marynivka and Zelene Pole. The highest concentration of Russian attacks was near Novotoretske.

Russians attacked the Kurakhove sector 20 times. The Russian occupants were most actively trying to advance near Heorhiivka and Tsukuryno.

In the Vremivka sector, the Russians conducted 8 assaults on Ukrainian positions near Vuhledar, Katerynivka, Vodiane, and Pavlivka. Russia was actively using bombers to attack the area.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Russia tried 3 times to force the Ukrainian Defense Forces units out of their positions.

Russia's losses in war against Ukraine

Since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost 646,000 manpower. Over the past day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated another 1,250 Russian troops and destroyed 15 tanks, 12 armored combat vehicles, 74 artillery systems, and more.
