Currently, the most intense activity is observed in the Pokrovsk and Kupiansk directions. Since the beginning of the day, 64 combat engagements have occurred, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"The enemy continues offensive actions. The most intense activity is observed in the Pokrovsk and Kupiansk directions. Defense Forces units are bravely holding back the pressure from the occupiers and fiercely responding to their attempts to advance," reported the General Staff.

Situation on fronts

In the Kharkiv direction, the number of clashes has increased to four. Fighting continues in the areas of Lyptsi, where the Russian forces used seven guided aerial bombs (KABs), and the area of Starytsia.

In the Kupiansk direction, the intensity of the assault has increased. The enemy attacked the positions of our fighters near Synkivka, Novoselivka, Myasozharivka, Druzheliubivka, and Tverdokhlibove twelve times. Battles are currently ongoing in the areas of Petropavlivka, Stepove, Novoyehorivka, and Nevske.

In the Lyman direction, eight Russian offensive actions were recorded. Seven of them were successfully repelled, with one battle ongoing near Torske.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attempted to storm with aviation support. Defense forces repelled four attacks, with one battle ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy is particularly active today. The intensity of the fighting has almost doubled. Currently, fifteen clashes have been recorded.

In the Vremivka direction, the Russian troops twice attacked in the areas of Staromaiorske and Rozdolne. Defense forces are controlling the situation.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attempted to push our fighters back. Battles are ongoing near Krynky.

"The situation on the rest of the directions has not undergone significant changes," adds the General Staff.

Russian offensive

Currently, after an unsuccessful advance into the Kharkiv region, the enemy is exerting efforts to expand the line of combat towards the Donetsk region. Meanwhile, our fighters have already managed to stabilize the situation in the north of the Kharkiv region.

According to Andrii Demchenko, the spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the Russian troops may attempt to expand the area of combat along the border in order to disperse Ukrainian forces and resources.
