Ukrainian forces struck a command post in the Kursk region on February 3. The occupiers suffered significant losses among their officers, states Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"There was simply a strike on the command post. Before covering a distance of 2.5 km, our forces hit a command post in the Kursk region," he said.

According to the president, many officers were killed there.

"I was told that about 20 officers were killed. Among them were senior North Korean and Russian officers," Zelenskyy stated.

Ukrainian army advance in the Kursk region

The Ukrainian Air Force carried out a precision strike on a command post in Novoivanivka, Kursk region, on February 3. Additionally, Ukrainian forces continue their advance in this direction, and according to Zelenskyy, the Ukrainian military has managed to push 2.5 km deeper into the region.

At the same time, the Russian army has once again deployed North Korean soldiers to the Kursk region. New assaults have already taken place in this direction. In turn, the Ukrainian forces have already managed to destroy hundreds of Russian and North Korean troops.
