On December 5, a fire broke out at a railway depot in the city of Bryansk, destroying 2 mainline diesel locomotives. These locomotives were used for logistics support of the Russian occupation army, according to the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.

“The process of mysterious destruction or disabling of facilities used by Russia in the genocidal war against Ukraine does not stop,” the Ukrainian intelligence said.

In addition, the intelligence officers added that there will be fair retribution for every Russian war crime.

Destruction of Russian military facilities on Russian territory

Ukraine is increasingly attacking military facilities in Russia, which is becoming an important element in deterring aggression and undermining Russia's military capabilities.

One of the key tools for this is the use of high-tech weapons, including ATACMS and Storm Shadow missiles.

The US recently permitted Ukraine to use US missiles against military targets in Russia. Read RBC-Ukraine's article on what this decision means for Ukraine.

Ukrainian drone attacks have also become an effective way to damage Russian logistics.

Ukrainian drone attacks are causing damage to Russian territory, which confirms the capabilities of the Ukrainian defense industry in times of war. They can fly long distances to hit a target. For example, military facilities in Taganrog were attacked at night on December 11.

Such operations not only undermine the combat capabilities of the Russian army but also demonstrate Ukraine's determination to defend its territory and sovereignty. Western allies continue to support Ukraine's right to self-defense, including the use of modern means to deter Russia.

Today, December 11, a fire was reported at the Transneft oil depot in Bryansk due to a drone attack.
