1500 km is no issue for our drones. Ukraine hits over 30 refineries and oil depots in Russia - Zelenskyy
For the drones of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU), a distance of one and a half thousand kilometers is no longer a problem. They have already struck more than 30 oil refineries, terminals, and oil depots in Russia, according to a statement from President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his greeting of the soldiers of the Special Operations Center A (SOC) of the Security Service of Ukraine on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the founding of the center.
Zelenskyy noted that the Special Operations Center A rightfully stands as one of Ukraine's best combat units.
"Your combat achievements have had a positive impact on all strategic battles of this war - from defending Kyiv to clearing the Black Sea area of the enemy, from battles in the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions to special operations deep within enemy territory," the president said.
According to him, "Ukrainians should know and be grateful to the soldiers of the SOC for reducing Russia's economic potential, which fuels the war - through strikes on Russian oil refining."
"Over 30 oil refineries, terminals, and oil depots of the terrorist state have already been struck. For the drones of the SBU, distances of up to one and a half thousand kilometers are no longer an issue. Together with the successes of the Defence Intelligence and our Armed Forces, these are very significant results that bring a just end to this war for Ukraine and ensure Russia's real, tangible, and painful accountability for everything it has done against Ukraine," emphasized Zelenskyy.
