Russian forces attacked Ukraine overnight with 105 attack drones of various types. Most enemy targets were destroyed by air defense forces, the Air Force reported.
"On the night of February 4, the enemy attacked with 105 unmanned aerial vehicles of the Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas types, as well as drones of other types, launched from the directions of Oryol, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, as well as from the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Chauda," the Air Force said.
It is noted that the air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare, and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, air defense forces destroyed 88 enemy drones of the Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas types, as well as drones of other types, in the north, south, and east of the country.
At the same time, impacts of 17 attack drones were recorded at 14 locations, as well as falling debris at five locations.
"The attack is ongoing, enemy unmanned aerial vehicles remain in the airspace. Follow safety rules," the Air Force added.
Night attack on Ukraine
On the night of February 4, Russian forces attacked regions of Ukraine with dozens of attack drones. As a result of a massive strike on the Ukrainian city of Odesa, civilian and industrial infrastructure were damaged.
Reports say that two districts of the city were damaged during the night attack. A two-story residential building, as well as a school and a kindergarten, were affected.
In addition, on the evening of February 3, Russian forces struck Zaporizhzhia city with a drone. As a result of the attack, a young man and a young woman were killed, and three children were among the injured.
