Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to a massive Russian attack, saying such strikes show their unwillingness to end the war, according to the head of state.
According to Zelenskyy, in just the past 24 hours, the Russian army launched more than 1,560 drones at Ukrainian cities and communities.
"These are definitely not actions of those who believe war is nearing its end. Partners mustn't stay silent about this strike. It is equally important to continue supporting the protection of our sky," the president stressed.
"PURL program is needed so Ukraine can defend itself against such ballistic strikes. And it is also in the interests of everyone seeking peace to continue pressure on Russia," he added.
