DeepState reports Russian breakthrough near Dobropillia, Ukrainian military clarifies actual situation

The Russian army has made significant advances in the Dobropillia area, gaining a foothold in several settlements, according to DeepState and the Operational-Strategic Group of Troops Dnipro.
DeepState response
According to analysts, Russian forces, using a superior number of infantry, advanced into the settlements of Kucheriv Yar and Zolotyi Kolodiaz, where they are building up forces for a further offensive. From Kucheriv Yar, Russian troops also moved into Vesele; around two dozen Russian personnel were recorded in the village over the past day.
In addition, Russian forces continue to expand their gains toward the Dobropillia–Kramatorsk highway, entrenching in the areas of Novovodiane and Petrivka.
DeepState described the situation as rather chaotic, noting that Russian forces, after finding gaps in Ukrainian defenses, are infiltrating deeper, attempting to quickly entrench and build up forces for further advances. They cautioned that some individuals in the command of a certain brigade either do not grasp the full scale of the problem or present it as "under control," claiming "everyone has been killed, everyone stopped."
They reported that Russian forces are bypassing Zolotyi Kolodiaz, Shakhove, and other nearby settlements with prepared heavy engineering fortifications and obstacles, which could lead to the fall of Dobropillia.
According to DeepState, the Russians already have pre-determined final objectives and are now executing their plan, trying to fully occupy Zolotyi Kolodiaz, Kucheriv Yar, Vesele, and other settlements. Once they consolidate and build up forces, further pushes deeper into Ukrainian territory will follow. They warned that if the situation does not change, Dobropillia could fall faster than Pokrovsk.
OSGT Dnipro response
The Ukrainian military noted that Russian forces constantly change their tactics and methods, leveraging numerical superiority and, despite heavy losses, attempting to infiltrate small groups past the first line of Ukrainian positions.
Such infiltrations, they stressed, while requiring reserves to eliminate, do not constitute "control over territory." Misunderstanding this has repeatedly caused errors in situational analysis and public discussion in the Pokrovsk–Myrnohrad area.
The situation on this section of the front remains difficult, with fighting here being the most intense compared to other parts of the contact line.
Ukrainian forces, OSGT said, are making maximum efforts to destroy any Russian groups that manage to slip past the first line as quickly as possible, which is what is happening now.
Frontline situation
According to the General Staff, as of 6 PM Kyiv time, there had been 65 combat engagements along the front since the start of the day, with the Pokrovsk direction remaining the epicenter of fighting.
Over the past day, Russian losses amounted to 1,000 personnel. Ukrainian troops also destroyed 4 tanks, 7 armored fighting vehicles, 37 artillery systems, 191 drones, and other Russian equipment.
