On the evening of December 4, at 10:00 PM, Russians once again carried out a massive attack on the Chuhuiv community in the Kharkiv region, according to Chuhuiv Mayor Halyna Minaieva.

Russian drones struck a non-operational industrial facility.

"The administrative building was damaged, and a fire broke out. State Emergency Service personnel are working to contain and extinguish the blaze. Its size and the extent of the damage are being determined. No information about casualties has been reported at this time," the mayor said.

According to Minaieva, three additional drone impacts were recorded in a remote neighbourhood of the city. The strike hit a building that had already been destroyed by previous attacks.

"As a result of this strike, a fire broke out, and there were no casualties. State Emergency Service personnel are carrying out measures to contain and extinguish the fire," the official added.

Previous attacks on Kharkiv region

The Russian forces periodically strike the Kharkiv region with drones, missiles, and glide bombs (KABs). RBC-Ukraine previously reported on a recent attack on Kharkiv, during which Russians carried out a massive drone strike on the city. One of the drones hit a residential building, and there were reports of casualties and injuries.

In that incident, three people were killed, and eight were injured, including a child.

Shortly before that, the Russian army launched a massive strike on railway infrastructure in Dnipro and the Kharkiv region. The attack caused significant destruction, fires, and damage to civilian facilities.
