Missile strike on Kharkiv region leaves dead and wounded

As a result of a missile strike by Russian forces on Balakliia in the Kharkiv region, 8 people were injured. According to preliminary information, one person was killed, according to the head of the Kharkiv regional administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
Syniehubov reported that among the injured are two children aged 14 and 12. A 61-year-old man also sought medical assistance and was hospitalized.
Apartment buildings and parked cars were damaged.
Oleh Syniehubov published a photo of one of the affected buildings.
"Units of the State Emergency Service and emergency medical workers are operating at the site of the strike," he informed.
Earlier in the evening, the Balakliia military administration reported a drone attack that left the entire community without electricity.

The head of the Balakliia military administration, Vitalii Karabanov, reported that as a result of the nighttime missile strike on the city of Balakliia, three people were killed.
Another 10 people were injured, including children born in 2011, 2007, and 2010.
Nine of the injured have been hospitalized, and one person is receiving outpatient medical care. All necessary treatment is being provided.
Russian attacks on Kharkiv and region
On 14 November, Russian forces used an FPV drone to strike a police vehicle in the Kharkiv region, killing a police officer.
Russian forces also used various types of weapons to attack settlements in the Kharkiv, Bohodukhiv, and Lozova districts. Guided aerial bombs and drones were used against civilians.
Two days earlier, on 12 November, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv with Geran-2 strike drones. As a result of the hits in the Kholodnohirskyi district, five people were injured; a civilian enterprise and residential buildings were damaged, and fires broke out. Warehouses of the logistics company were also hit.
Russian drones also struck a private transport company. As a result of the attack, a pallet of books belonging to several Ukrainian publishers was burned.
