Zelenskyy's Office responds to Russia's plan to divide Ukraine
Russia has devised a "plan for dividing Ukraine." However, it is not feasible at this time, states Mykhailo Podolyak, advisor to the head of the President's Office, in a comment to the RBC-Ukraine YouTube channel.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has developed a plan for the development of the global military-political situation until 2045, which envisions the liquidation of Ukraine and its division into parts.
However, Podolyak stated that the key scenario for Russia is the destruction of Ukrainian statehood.
"This is what Russia has been constantly thinking about. This is one of the scenarios. It is the basic one, and as long as it hasn't been implemented, if Russia remains 'Putin's,' they will continue trying to solve it one way or another," he explained.
At the same time, the advisor to the President's Office noted that recent materials suggest Russian President Vladimir Putin may be ready to freeze the conflict.
"Yes, absolutely. Because what does freezing the conflict mean? He has decided that the second stage may end with additional territorial gains, and on those territories, he will build fortifications, fill them with weapons, modernize the economy, and begin the third stage. The logic here is clear," he concluded.
Podolyak emphasized that the concept of the destruction of Ukraine is the basic scenario they want to implement.
"Will anyone buy into this scenario? I think not. Today, another scenario is possible — the division of Russia," he said.
Russia has made a 'plan to divide Ukraine'
Today, a so-called forecast of the development of the military-political situation in the world until 2045 has surfaced online, allegedly from the Russian Federation.
According to media reports, this plan, which envisions dividing Ukraine into three parts, may be presented to the new US administration through foreign governments and representatives of foreign states.
At the same time, it is worth mentioning that Reuters, citing sources in the Kremlin, reported that Putin may be willing to discuss the end of the war in Ukraine with Trump, but on tough conditions.
