Ukrainian Parliament: Several points of victory plan targeted at Trump
Donald Trump, who is winning the US presidential election, may be interested in the victory plan. Several points of the document are targeted at him, stated Ukrainian MP Yevheniya Kravchuk in a comment for the RBC-Ukraine's YouTube channel.
Kravchuk emphasized that the meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Trump in September was very important. The American politician confirmed that there should be a fair peace between Russia and Ukraine.
"It’s also important that in these five points of victory, there were a few that were specifically aimed at the Republicans and Trump," she noted.
She assured that one of the points, regarding the replacement of US troops in Europe with Ukrainians after the end of the full-scale war, "would definitely interest Trump."
"This aligns, by the way, with what Trump has said about reducing the presence of American troops on bases in Europe," Kravchuk explained.
According to her, the second point is the issue of natural resources. Ukraine possesses rare minerals, including lithium. If Russia occupies Ukrainian territories, China will gain access to these resources. Trump's circle views China as the "greatest enemy" of the US.
The MP believes that such a pragmatic argument will be "very clearly understood" by Republicans.
"Therefore, we are certainly ready to work with any administration. There will definitely be more work, not less. It is also clear that Ukraine must increase its own weapons production and reduce dependence on these supplies," Kravchuk added.
She also pointed out that Kyiv plans to allocate a $50 billion credit from the G7 countries to produce its own weapons.
Trump’s victory in the election
On November 5, the US presidential elections took place. According to the results published by Western media, Donald Trump has already secured the necessary number of electoral votes for victory.
The inauguration is scheduled for January 25, 2025. Until that date, Joe Biden remains President.
It is still unknown what Trump’s policy towards Ukraine will be, as his statements on the war have been somewhat contradictory.
