Russia’s overnight drone and ballistic missile attack on Kyiv killed one civilian and injured 22 people, including four children, across multiple districts.
Russia struck Kyiv with drones and ballistic missiles overnight on October 22, killing one person and injuring 22 others, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said. Four children were among the victims, while residential and non-residential buildings, cars, transport infrastructure and energy facilities were damaged in several districts. Fires hit a non-residential building and restaurant complex in Sviatoshynskyi, while buildings, ambulances and a monastery were damaged in Pecherskyi. The attack also injured people in Dniprovskyi, Obolonskyi and Holosiivskyi districts, and traffic on the Pivdennyi Bridge was restricted after the strikes.
