Ukraine has information that Russia is preparing another massive strike. The aggressor country will continue targeting bridges and the energy grid, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
Russia is preparing a new strike
Zelenskyy noted that intelligence had provided information that a new strike is being prepared, targeting:
-
Energy infrastructure,
-
Bridges across the Dnipro River,
-
Civilian infrastructure.
"The Air Force and the Armed Forces of Ukraine overall are preparing to protect us. It's not easy," the president assured.
Zelenskyy said that Ukraine needs interceptor missiles for Patriot systems.
"Every agreement matters, and every day counts when it comes to deliveries. We're asking our partners very strongly: please don't put off deliveries," he said.
Russia continues to maintain a significant arsenal of long-range missiles and increase its production despite international sanctions.
According to information obtained by Ukraine's Defense Intelligence (HUR), as of October 2026, the aggressor country had up to 700 ballistic missiles and several thousand cruise missiles of various types in its arsenal.
In addition, on November 2, Zelenskyy warned that Russia was once again preparing a massive strike on Ukraine. Energy infrastructure and logistics remain the targets.
