Meta is working on creating a personalized AI avatar that will serve as a digital clone of Mark Zuckerberg. The neural network is being trained on the founder’s mannerisms, tone of voice, and all public statements, according to Engadget.
How the digital Zuckerberg will work
The project is part of Meta’s broader strategy to create photorealistic 3D animated AI characters. The company’s founder clone has become a priority development direction.
Key features:
- Data-based training: The AI is trained not only on the communication style of Meta’s CEO, but also on his vision of the company’s strategy. This allows it to generate advice aligned with the real CEO’s thinking.
- Autonomy: The AI clone is expected to interact with employees when Zuckerberg is busy with other projects or on vacation.
- Personal AI agent: Insiders say Zuckerberg is also developing a separate AI agent to assist with his daily routine — helping find answers to complex questions and organizing his schedule.
Although replacing a CEO with an algorithm sounds futuristic, Meta believes it could speed up decision-making in a massive corporation.
It is still unclear whether regular employees will have access to the digital Zuckerberg or whether it will remain a tool exclusively for top management.
