In Ukraine, plans are underway to develop a new fair mechanism for reserving employees of enterprises subject to military conscription, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

He mentions that it is currently crucial to have a dialogue between businesses and the state regarding the reservation of employees from mobilization.

"We all support our soldiers, but without people working, there will be no salaries. Preserving the economy is very important. But at the same time, we must not forget that we cannot leave the guys on the front line without rotation. This is also very important. Today, it is a priority. So we adhere to this formula: you either fight or work for the state," says Zelenskyy.

The President believes that it is necessary to find a format to support businesses that operate openly and pay taxes.

"I asked our economists and law enforcement to develop a special approach to businesses that work completely transparently. Honest Ukrainian businesses, so that there are no questions from tax authorities and law enforcement during the war," he emphasizes.

Mobilization bill

On January 30, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine reintroduced a bill on mobilization to the Ukrainian Parliament. The document proposes to change the procedure for its conduct.

In particular, the bill contains provisions on reducing the conscription age to 25, restrictions for evaders, and more.

The key point in the document is also the issue of protection for employees of enterprises.
