Zelenskyy: Ukraine ready to store gas from US in its facilities

Ukraine is ready to store American gas in its facilities. This proposal is of interest not only to our country but also to the administration of US President Donald Trump, states Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in an interview with Reuters.
"It is very interesting for us, I know it's very interesting for the Trump administration. We are ready and willing to have contracts for LNG supplies to Ukraine. And of course, we will be a hub for the whole of Europe," Zelenskyy said.
According to him, Ukraine is ready to sign contracts and gladly supply American gas through its territory to other EU countries.
" I know that our American partners support it. We are also ready to let our American partners into this sector, into this market. I think this is also part of the security for Ukraine and Europe, because this is not Russian gas," the president noted.
Ukraine may provide its storage facilities for American gas
Recently, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that Ukraine could offer its gas storage facilities for storing American gas.
The Foreign Minister reminded that Ukraine possesses large underground gas storage facilities, which, according to him, also present "common grounds for mutually beneficial cooperation," strengthening Europe's energy security.
