Zelenskyy to allies: Blackout of Russian terror could force Putin to seek peace
The Russian Federation will be forced to seek a path to true peace only when its ability to terrorize its neighbors is curtailed, citing President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a joint briefing with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
As the president said, the war continues only because the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin can continue terrorizing, launching strikes, and conducting overall military operations.
"Once Russia's ability to terrorize its neighbors is limited, Russia will finally be forced to seek a path to true peace. Because this is Putin's key advantage: missile strikes, guided aerial bombs, and attack drones," Zelenskyy said.
He added that Ukraine and its allies must "ensure a blackout of Russian terror" to achieve real peace.
War with Russia
As the president recently emphasized, the war with the Russian Federation will continue until Ukraine achieves victory. At the same time, the enemy can expedite its conclusion by leaving the temporarily occupied territories.
Zelenskyy supported the decision of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) regarding the impossibility of negotiations with dictator Putin. If Russia wishes to return to dialogue, it must fully withdraw from Ukrainian territory, change its political elite, acknowledge war crimes, and surrender the organizers of the war for the tribunal.
Additionally, a peace summit will soon take place in Switzerland, during which countries and organizations will discuss the Ukrainian peace formula, which aims to bring an end to the war on terms that are just for Ukraine.
