At today’s meeting in London on April 23, representatives from five countries gathered to work toward achieving peace in Ukraine. It is an extremely challenging task that sparked a range of emotions, but Ukraine remained committed to its Constitution, stated President Volodymyr Zelenskyy following the talks.

"There were many emotions today. But it’s a good sign that five countries - Ukraine, the US, the UK, France, and Germany - came together to move closer to peace. Each side shared its views and respectfully acknowledged one another’s positions,” Zelenskyy said, commenting on the London meeting.

According to him, what mattered most was that each country didn’t just attend but made meaningful contributions.

"The American side shared its vision. Ukraine and the other Europeans presented their proposals," he noted.

The President expressed hope that this kind of collaborative effort would ultimately lead to lasting peace in Ukraine.

"We are grateful to our partners. Ukraine will always act in line with its Constitution, and we are fully confident that our partners, especially the United States, will act in accordance with their strong decisions,” Zelenskyy concluded.
