Zelenskyy talks to Trump again — second call in just two days

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a new phone call with US President Donald Trump, the second in the last few days.
“I have just spoken with POTUS – for the second time in two days – and today’s conversation was also very productive,” Zelenskyy said on X.
According to him, they discussed the same topics as on October 11: strengthening Ukraine's air defense and assistance in restoring the energy sector. The supplying of long-range weapons to Ukraine was discussed separately, Zelenskyy hinted.
“President Trump is well informed about everything that is happening. We agreed to continue our dialogue, and our teams are doing their preparations. Thank you!” the president added.
On October 11, Zelenskyy said that during a call, he discussed with US President Donald Trump the strengthening of Ukraine's air defense against the backdrop of Russian attacks on the energy sector.
According to media reports, there was indeed a discussion about the possibility of supplying Ukraine with new Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems. But the parties also discussed possible future deliveries of American Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine.
