Zelenskyy summons Ground Forces and Commander-In-Chief after training ground strike

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is convening a meeting following the Russian strike on the Ukrainian Ground Forces training ground. Mykhailo Drapaty, who resigned as commander of the Ground Forces, has also been summoned, according to Zelenskyy’s evening address.
"Today, Russian forces launched a missile strike on a training camp in the Dnipro region. Unfortunately, there are casualties. Our servicemen have died. My condolences to all their families and loved ones," the president said.
Zelenskyy noted that this is not the first such strike causing Ukrainian losses. Therefore, he has called a meeting including Mikhailo Drapaty, Chief of the General Staff, Andrii Hnatov, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, and Defense Minister Rustem Umerov after his return from negotiations in Istanbul.
"All our combat troops are needed at the front, to defend Ukraine. Every one of them. And every life must be protected. All necessary decisions will be made," the head of state said.
