Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the Ukrainian delegation will hold another round of talks with European leaders following a meeting with Donald Trump, according to a post on the president’s Telegram channel.

Zelenskyy said that earlier today, he and the Ukrainian delegation spoke with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and European leaders. The discussions focused on the diplomatic track and its priorities, and another set of negotiations is expected after the conversation with Trump.

“Ukraine values all the support. Tomorrow, after the meeting with President Trump, we will continue the dialogue. Strong positions are needed both on the battlefield and in diplomacy so that Putin cannot manipulate the situation or avoid a real and just end to the war. The world has enough strength to guarantee security and peace. Thank you,” the president concluded.

Trump–Zelenskyy meeting

Tomorrow, October 28, a meeting between the leaders of the US and Ukraine will take place at Trump’s residence in Florida. The two sides plan to discuss a peace plan.

Media reports have said that Zelenskyy intends to use the talks with Trump to resolve key differences over the document.

In particular, the president has publicly stated that he will definitely raise the issue of territories, specifically Donbas and the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.

Zelenskyy also said he plans to discuss five key points, including security guarantees, the military dimension, a reconstruction plan, and a roadmap for sequential actions.
