Zelenskyy shares about successful defense by Armed Forces in Kherson and Kursk regions

Ukrainian forces have repelled Russian attacks in the Kherson region, while the elimination of North Korean soldiers continues in the Kursk region, according to the evening address of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The head of state emphasized that Ukraine will respond to Russia's strikes on all its cities.
As Zelenskyy recalled, Russian forces carried out a barbaric shelling of Kherson today. There is also noticeable enemy activity in the Kherson direction.
"I would like to thank the units that are defending these positions of ours. They repelled attempts by Russian forces to advance there," the president said.
According to him, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi also reported on other front directions, including Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia.
"Special attention is being paid to combat actions in the Kursk region: an increasing number of North Korean soldiers have been eliminated there," Zelenskyy added.
He noted that Russia is attempting to portray North Koreans as representatives of national communities living within Russia. Such actions, he said, demonstrate Moscow's complete disregard for indigenous peoples and the Korean people themselves.
Massive shelling of the Kherson region
On the night of December 20, Russian forces carried out a massive shelling of the Kherson region.
According to local authorities, a large number of strikes hit apartment buildings.
As a result of these attacks, up to 60,000 subscribers were left without electricity.
