Zelenskyy's office makes statement on Kellogg's visit to Ukraine

Ukraine is expecting a visit by US Special Representative Keith Kellogg in February. Communication with the new US administration is important for Ukraine, according to the head of the Ukrainian President's Office, Andrii Yermak.
He made the statement in an interview with Associated Press journalist Susie Blann.
Yermak said that the Ukrainian side was very much looking forward to the visit of the US Special Representative for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, in February to provide comprehensive information about Russian aggression against their country.
The head of the Ukrainian President's Office emphasized that it is very important for Ukraine that the new US administration receives full real information about the situation on the battlefield, the situation with mobilization, and the supply of weapons and equipment as soon as possible.
He added that communication was important for developing a common position with partners because it was impossible to formulate any plans to achieve peace without Ukraine.
Yermak has already had a telephone conversation with US National Security Advisor Michael Waltz. Contacts with other representatives of the Trump administration are expected.
The head of the President's Office added that Ukraine must approach the negotiations in a strong position, and security guarantees are needed to prevent repeated aggression by Russia.
Kellogg's visit to Ukraine
US Special Representative for Ukraine and Russia Keith Kellogg had planned to visit Kyiv before Donald Trump's inauguration. However, the visit was postponed due to legal formalities.
Kellogg will attend the Munich Security Conference on February 14-16. After that, he is expected to visit Ukraine. Earlier, RBC-Ukraine's sources reported that this would happen on February 20.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will also take part in the Munich Security Conference.
