President Zelenskyy reveals North Korea's new plan to send troops to Russia

Russia is preparing to additionally deploy 10,000 soldiers from North Korea, who are being selected for training and subsequent transfer to Russia. According to Ukrainian intelligence, more than 8,000 North Korean military personnel are already on Russian territory, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s evening address following a report from the Main Intelligence Directorate.
According to the president, Russia has effectively begun additional mobilization and is increasing the number of people it recruits through various means. Moscow plans to expand its recruitment of foreigners in general, while Ukraine intends to inform the governments of countries whose citizens are being recruited by Russia.
Separately, Zelenskyy reported that Russia is paying North Korea for military assistance, particularly with technologies. According to him, with Russian technical support, North Korea has launched the production of Shahed-type strike drones.
".In return, Russia is paying, among other things, with technology: production of shahed-type attack drones has been established in North Korea with Russian technical support. This is how evil encroaches, and how a threat to life in one part of the world spreads to other parts," the president said.
Military cooperation between Russia and North Korea is no longer limited to the supply of ammunition and troops. The transfer of Russian technologies gives Pyongyang the opportunity to develop its own arms production, and the experience gained in the war against Ukraine could enhance North Korea's military capabilities in Asia, particularly against South Korea.
According to The Wall Street Journal, North Korea has begun practicing tactics of mass attacks used in Russia's war against Ukraine and in the Middle East - in particular, North Korea is testing the combination of drones and conventional weapons.
Furthermore, Head of the Presidential Office Kyrylo Budanov gave an alarming forecast regarding North Korea - according to him, North Korea is using the experience of Russia's war against Ukraine to improve its own weaponry and develop its army, while simultaneously expanding military cooperation with Moscow.
