President Volodymyr Zelensky chaired a meeting of the National Security Council (NSC) on Wednesday, August 30th. He promised consequences for those who falsified the decisions of the military medical commissions.

According to Zelenskyy, the results of the military medical commissions' investigations will lead to conclusions on those who falsified decisions. This also applies to those who left Ukraine using falsified documents since the beginning of the full-scale aggression.

The Cabinet of Ministers previously approved the implementation of electronic document circulation during and after the military medical commission examinations.

This decision will release military personnel from the carrier role and allow quick access to the documents necessary for medical examinations.

Audits in military recruitment offices

After high-profile corruption scandals in military recruitment offices, Zelenskyy initiated checks throughout the country.

Later, Zelenskyy approved an NSC decision on the dismissal of all military recruitment office regional heads. In some regions, the procedure for dismissing has already begun.

Additionally, the police conducted over 200 searches in military recruitment offices and military medical commissions. Law enforcement agencies seized more than 10,000 personal medical records.

Recently, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the electronic document system during and after the military medical commission examinations.
