Zelenskyy outlines purpose of Ukraine's victory plan

Russia ignores genuine diplomacy and Ukraine's proposed peace formula. However, Russia will not be able to continue the war if Ukraine's victory plan is implemented, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his press conference with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
"The key part is to strengthen Ukraine's position and our relations with our closest partners in such a way that we create the necessary conditions and a fair atmosphere for honest diplomacy," said the president.
According to Zelenskyy, the world sees that Russia is ignoring genuine diplomacy and the peace formula proposed by Ukraine to end the war justly, based on the UN Charter. However, if Ukraine's victory plan is implemented, he stated that Russia will not be able to continue fighting and will be forced to pursue peace.
"And if we implement the victory plan through cooperation with our partners, Russia will no longer be able to continue this war and will be compelled to make peace. This is the essence of the victory plan. We aim to protect Ukrainian independence, Ukrainian families, our people, and the right of our children to live freely in their own country," Zelenskyy concluded.
It should be noted that yesterday, October 10, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented Ukraine's victory plan to his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, and announced the Peace Summit in November.
In addition, it is worth mentioning that in a documentary on Ukraine's western path, Zelenskyy said that Ukraine hopes to become a member of the European Union sooner than projected.
