President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy is ready for any format of negotiations if an unconditional ceasefire is reached, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing a source.

According to a source informed about the direct negotiations with Russia, Zelenskyy is open to any format of talks in the event of a truce with Russia.

"The President (Zelenskyy - ed.) has always said that we are ready for any formats of negotiations," the source stated.

The anonymous interlocutor emphasized that during the conversation with US President Donald Trump, all European participants told him they support a ceasefire.

"And this was Trump's proposal from the beginning, back on March 11 in Saudi Arabia - a full and unconditional ceasefire," the source added.

At the same time, the interlocutor noted that additional negotiations could take place after the ceasefire begins.

"Thirty days are needed, and then diplomacy will work, because there will be time to agree on everything. If the ceasefire holds, then it's possible to agree on the place and format," the source concluded.

Truce is set to begin on Monday, May 12

Today, May 10, leaders of the Coalition of the Willing arrived in Kyiv. After the initial meeting, participants of the coalition held a phone call with US President Donald Trump.

Due to the negotiations, the participants set a deadline for Russia to agree to the ceasefire.

Ukraine and its allies are ready for a full and unconditional ceasefire on land, in the air, and at sea for at least 30 days.

Zelenskyy stated that the truce between Ukraine and Russia is set to begin on Monday, May 12.

President of Ukraine also stressed that if the Kremlin refuses a full and unconditional ceasefire, it will face new sanctions.
