Some of Ukraine's partners that examined the victory plan feel that Kyiv is asking for "too much", but it's not, says President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in an interview with North European media.

"We wrote the victory plan, we gave them. When we propose something to our partners, they always say, 'Yes, but it depends on the will of one and another.' No! This plan was depending only on the will of partners. Not on the will of Russia," he said.

According to the president, the partners needed to accept this plan, and many countries began to accept it.

"And a lot of countries began to tell us - you know, a little bit pressure on us they said - from some leaders, because 'you want too much'. Too much for what? We want to live. Is it too much? Just to live. That’s it. That's about the victory plan, that’s what the north, that's about the east, it's about Kursk operation," Zelenskyy said.

Zelenskyy's victory plan

In early September, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced a victory plan for the war. The victory plan is aimed at forcing Russia to negotiate on Kyiv's terms.

Initially, the text of Zelenskyy’s victory plan was unknown. The president described it as "clear" and "straightforward." The document was first presented to US President Joe Biden, as the plan heavily relies on American assistance. Other partners were later introduced to it as well.

On October 16, Zelenskyy presented the victory plan in the Parliament. The document comprises five points and three secret annexes. The contents of the classified section have not been disclosed publicly but are known to Ukraine’s closest partners and remain confidential.

Meanwhile, yesterday, The New York Times reported that the classified part of the victory plan includes Kyiv's request for Tomahawk missiles. Zelenskyy has already reacted to the leak.
